Four people were arrested and an organized retail theft case remains unsolved, according to the Palo Alto Police Department's July 28 report log, which covers 14 cases from July 8 through July 26.
The most serious property crime arrest came Tuesday, July 21, when Jerrell Curtis King, 41, of Los Angeles was booked at 10:28 a.m. on suspicion of motor vehicle theft at 1730 Embarcadero Road. King faces a charge under Vehicle Code 10851(a). The case number is 26-02886.
Three days later, at 5:36 a.m. Friday, July 24, officers booked Eliel Hernandezsantiago, 27, of San Carlos at 423 Page Mill Road on three charges: grand theft, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The case number is 26-02919.
On Saturday, July 25, Anthony Joseph Galindo, 46, of San Jose was booked at 8:27 a.m. at 180 El Camino Real on suspicion of felony vandalism and public intoxication. That case number is 26-02933.
The fourth arrest came Thursday, July 23, when Liam Anselm Bickford, 64, of Menlo Park was booked at 4:15 a.m. at 528 High Street on suspicion of public nuisance. The case number is 26-02902.
All four arrestees listed home addresses outside Palo Alto.
180 El Camino Real: two incidents in three days
The address at 180 El Camino Real was the only location to appear twice in the log. Beyond Galindo's Saturday vandalism arrest, police responded there Thursday, July 23, at 5:22 p.m. for an organized retail theft reported under Penal Code 490.4. No arrest has been made in that case (26-02916), which remains under investigation.
The address has been a recurring enforcement location throughout summer 2026, appearing in PAPD logs for shoplifting, grand theft, organized retail theft, and vandalism cases dating to early June, according to the department's June 10 report log and subsequent weekly releases.

The log also documents several cases without arrests:
- A credit card/ATM theft reported Wednesday, July 8, at 4180 Park Boulevard
- A petty theft from a motor vehicle reported Tuesday, July 14, at 3277 Miranda Avenue
- A voyeurism/video recording offense reported Monday, July 20, at 3281 East Bayshore Road
- A petty theft from a building reported Friday, July 24, at 532 Ramona Street
- Found property reports on Friday, July 24, at 600 Gilman Street and at High Street and University Avenue
- A lost property report on Sunday, July 26, at 250 Hamilton Avenue
The organized retail theft at 180 El Camino Real is the only active investigation listed without a suspect in custody. No court dates have been announced for any of the four arrestees.
