Palo Alto police’s Oct. 27 report log lists four adult bookings, including allegations of drunken driving, grand theft and lodging without an owner’s consent.

The 15-entry log contains reports dated Oct. 12-25. The department says the dates and times identify when events were reported to police, rather than necessarily when they occurred or when someone was arrested.

Huiyong Chung, 50, of Palo Alto was listed as booked on suspicion of alcohol-related DUI offenses under Vehicle Code sections 23152(a) and 23152(b).

The case was reported Oct. 24 at 1:51 a.m., with a location in the 900 block of San Antonio Road.

The case was reported Oct. 23 at 2:19 p.m. at 180 El Camino Real. A separate shoplifting-related grand theft report at that address was dated Oct. 13. The log does not establish a connection between the cases.

High Street bookings

Davonne Corren McGary, 50, and Liam Anselm Bickford, 64, were listed as booked on suspicion of misdemeanor lodging without an owner’s consent under Penal Code section 647(e).

Their entries have separate case numbers but the same reporting date, time and location: Oct. 22 at 2:53 p.m. in the 500 block of High Street.

Bickford’s listed residence is Palo Alto. McGary’s residence is not provided.

The log includes an entry classified “Death Unattended” in the 1500 block of Channing Avenue, reported Oct. 24 at 8:43 a.m. It provides no information about the cause or circumstances of the death.

Other entries include three suspicious-circumstances reports, two mental health evaluations, an identity theft report on Ramona Street, a peeping report in the 2400 block of Watson Court, a courtesy report on Quarry Road and found property near Embarcadero Road and Cowper Street.

PAPD explains its reporting process and publishes recent logs on its Police Report Log page.
